Planning staff recommendation: "Staff does not support the requested zoning change. The request for zoning change is inconsistent with the Baltimore County Master Plan 2020, surround zoning and land uses."

Planning Board recommendation: RC8, 14.47a

Comments: Under current zoning, a single additional parcel could be divided off. Under DR5, there could be a total of 7 houses. This parcel is completely surrounded by RC2, making this "spot zoning". The petitioner bought this parcel in Oct 1999, at which time it was RC2.
